Suffolk Business Minded Forum launch report... -

The first forum was launched on 29th September 2009, and was a great success. The forum received very positive feedback from the local businesses who attended. The primary aim of the first forum meeting was to establish the members’ needs and use this to lay the foundations for the future direction of the forum.

Sponsored training event dates -
11 March 2009

The Trust is sponsoring one day training sessions that will be run in both East and West Suffolk on 21st May and 11th June 2009. The events will be open to local employers, and will look at the key areas around keeping employees well and in work. The training will be delivered by local experts in their fields, with each event consisting of four modules.

Employers can expect to leave the training with a clear understanding of how these areas can be applied to their business, as well as their role as employers in implementing them.

 

Launch date announced -
11 March 2009

Suffolk Business Minded is to be launched later this month, on 30th March at Suffolk Chamber of Commerce lunch, which will be held at the Elizabeth Hotel in Copdock.

Suffolk Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust Chief Executive, Mark Halladay, will address employers on the hidden costs of not addressing issues around wellbeing in the workplace, and explain how the initiative hopes to support managers and businesses. The launch is being followed by an awareness week in April with local media publicity, as well as a two hour breakfast event open to local employers.
